Dr. Seiff received his undergraduate training at Stanford University (BS). He then attended medical school at the University of California San Francisco (MD), followed by Internship at San Francisco General Hospital (UCSF Service) and then Residency in Ophthalmology at UCSF. His ASOPRS Fellowship in Oculofacial Plastic Surgery was completed at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at UCLA under the directorship of Norman Shorr, MD. This was followed by an additional fellowship in Oculoplastic Surgery at London’s Moorfield’s Eye Hospital under direction of Mr. Richard Collin.
Dr. Seiff has served as Director of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at UCSF and Chief of the Department of Ophthalmology at San Francisco General Hospital. He remains Professor of Ophthalmology, Senate Emeritus at UCSF. He is Consultant in Orbit, Oculofacial, and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery at California Pacific Medical Center and Mills Peninsula Medical Center.
Dr. Seiff has held many positions in the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He was President in 2009 and remains on the Advisory Board.
